Voters still doubt debate moderators, media fact-checking

Voters again this year think debate moderators are a lot more likely to help the Democrat presidential nominee over Donald Trump. They suspect the media plays favorites, too, when fact-checking what the candidates say.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 40% of Likely U.S. Voters believe most debate moderators will try to help Joe Biden. Only eight percent (8%) think they will try to assist President Trump instead. Thirty-seven percent (37%) expect most moderators to be unbiased, while 16% are not sure.
