Biden says he’d implement mask mandate on federal land

[Ed. – Oh, the priorities (lament to the cadence of “Oh, the humanity!”).  I wonder how this differs from what is already in place on federal properties across America, where masks are mandatory for workers and the public; e.g., at Social Security offices, post offices, on military bases, etc.  If Biden means you have to wear a mask hiking around Yellowstone even if you don’t encounter anything but moose or bears the whole time you’re there, well — see first sentence above.]

During a town hall on CNN on Thursday, 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden stated that he would have the authority as president to have a mask mandate on federal property and land and he will institute one, which could come with a fine for noncompliance. Biden also stated that he would prefer to see state governors have mask mandates, and would encourage them to have state mask mandates, but he can’t do one nationally.
