[Ed. – Greatly appreciated, no doubt, by the other condo owners in the building, and the other residents along the street. We’re sure this was a “peaceful” protest, however disruptive it may be to the people who call that block home.]
A group of protesters gathered outside Mayor Ted Wheeler’s condo in the Pearl District on Friday night.
Some of the protesters chained themselves up inside the lobby. Others chanted, played music and danced in the street.
In a statement, Wheeler’s office said it is “monitoring the situation and hope protesters remain peaceful for the safety of other residents.”
