Democrats can fold their tent if independents leave

Neither major party is capable of winning a national election without the support of independent voters, and billionaire Elon Musk believes that particular voting bloc is leaving the Democratic tent in droves.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced late last week that Musk is taking Tesla, his electric car company, out of the highly taxed and heavily regulated state of California and setting up shop in the Lone Star State.

Although lower tax rates were a huge incentive, that wasn’t the primary reason for the move.

“He wanted to get into a state where he had more freedom where he could expand the way he wanted to expand,” Abbott explained on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”

“He has a remarkable vision that goes far beyond just this one announcement.”

And you can see the left’s demand that basic freedoms should be restrained everywhere.
