[Ed. –This is a travesty. Missouri has a ‘castle doctrine,’ permitting homeowners to defend their domiciles, which this couple was doing. The ‘peaceful protesters’ had breached the gates of their gated community and posed a threat. Democratic St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner has accused the couple of a ‘violent assault,’ which is absurd on its face. The entire episode is just another example of the upside-down world the Left hopes to impose on the U.S.]
During an interview with Fox News on Monday, St. Louis, Missouri homeowner Mark McCloskey said that he expects “to be indicted shortly” for defending his home after Black Lives Matter protesters broke into his gated area.
Last month McCloskey and his wife went viral after videos surfaced of them standing outside of their house with guns in hand as left-wing Black Lives Matter protesters broke into his property.
The comments on Fox News came after law enforcement officials in St. Louis law enforcement officials searched his house and took the rifle that was used to defend his home.
“The police were really very professional and very nice,” McCloskey said. “The cops that came out to issue the search warrant on us, they were almost apologetic. They didn’t want to have to be there. They were doing their job.
