[Ed. – An interesting argument to make at a time when fresh cases of voter fraud are cropping up.]
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the biggest roadblock Joe Biden could encounter in his 2020 presidential bid is voter suppression in Republican states, not a lack of enthusiasm.
The California Democrat said on Sunday that she is hesitant to celebrate polls showing the former vice president with a significant lead over President Trump because there are still several months before the election. She told ABC’s This Week that the “biggest threat” to Biden’s odds at becoming president is voter suppression.
“So if you ask what stands in the way? Not the enthusiasm of the American people. Not the excellence of our candidate for president of the United States. We’re so proud of Joe Biden. He will be a great president. And all of the other candidates — I’m so proud of our House candidates. Hopefully, we’ll win the Senate, which is very possible,” she said.
