Here are the Americans who won’t get relief checks

[Ed. – It’s kind of laughable how obvious it is that the point of this story is to generate sympathy for illegals who won’t get checks.  They’re buried in there among several other categories, as if being in the country illegally is a decision factor equivalent to being a disabled adult claimed on someone else’s 1040.]

Although the $2 trillion stimulus bill passed last month includes payments of up to $1,200 for everyone who makes less than the limit, many Americans will fall through the cracks. That includes most college kids, immigrants without Social Security numbers and some disabled adults.


Here’s a look at who falls through the cracks:

College students and 17-year-olds …

Disabled people whose parents support them …


Immigrants without Social Security numbers …

[I]mmigrants with green cards and those on H-1B and H-2A visas will get payments. Nonresident aliens, temporary workers and immigrants in the U.S. illegally won’t.
