[Ed. – Returns on the action Hans Bader previewed for us earlier.  Hunker down; on the Virginia flip, it’ll be at least a week of overinterpreting an already dark-purple state going blue.  Besides the profound shift in demographics reflected in the map we keep trotting out, there was probably also some effect from ballot-harvesting – because there always is now.  It is whistling in the wind to simply wish it away, and it favors Democrats a good 99% of the time.  For other coverage, such as the governor’s races in Kentucky and Mississippi, check the links.]
