[Ed. – Well, that little fiction didn’t last long.]
During an event in Colorado Thursday night, 2020 Presidential Candidate Beto O’Rourke was asked if he is open to a ban on all semi-automatic firearms. When reporters followed up, this what he said:
The question was originally asked by Evan Todd, a survivor of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting. Todd is pro-Second Amendment and asked the question as a way to determine how far Beto would go to infringe on the rights of Americans.
And there was this emotional moment. A Columbine survivor, Evan Todd, asked Beto to include all semi-automatic weapons in his proposed ban.
