[Ed. – She seems plausible enough. We give her a vote of confidence.]
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced last week that she will be leaving her White House position at the end of the month, but she may not be out of the political spotlight for long.
Recent reports suggest that Sanders is strongly considering running to be the next governor of Arkansas, and she already has the full support of President Donald Trump.
Sanders and her allies have reportedly been making calls to GOP donors and operatives in her home state to test the waters.
John Gilmore, political strategist for Arkansas’ current Gov. Republican Asa Hutchinson, tweeted that two websites that could be used for a campaign were registered anonymously on the same day in May, SarahforGovernor.com and SarahforArkansas.com.
That’s the first clue that Sanders may be running to become the governor of Arkansas.
