[Ed. – It would be interesting to hear Isbell’s definition of ‘assault weapon.’]
An Arkansas man has gone viral for his tweet about feral hogs that he tied into the nationwide debate over gun control, which was reignited after two mass shootings last weekend in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
“Legit question for rural Americans — How do I kill the 30-50 feral hogs that run into my yard within 3-5 mins while my small kids play?” William McNabb, who lives near a swamp in South Arkansas, tweeted Monday.
The tweet reportedly came in response to singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, who tweeted that assault weapons should be banned in the wake of the two deadly massacres that killed more than 30 people combined.

“If you’re on here arguing the definition of ‘assault weapon’ today you are part of the problem,” the Alabama musician tweeted Sunday. “You know what an assault weapon is, and you know you don’t need one.”
