Men’s fashion is undergoing a bit of a metamorphosis: In May, a company called ACED Design released the RompHim, or brightly-colored male rompers, on Kickstarter — and people had a lot to say about it.

Now, streetwear brand Hologram City has entered the fray, introducing sheer, lace shorts and short-sleeve button-downs for men.

The look was first designed by Hologram City owner Hoza Rodriguez for NYC-based rapper Cazwell’s latest music video. In it, he and four other men sport the colorful designs with coordinating shirts, tube socks, and bright white sneakers.

But while a group of guys sporting lace in a music video is unique, lace shorts for men have actually been around for a while. Popsugar noted that Versace showed men in similar styles on the runway in 2013 and Gucci did the same in 2015.
