Dems in CT remove tribute to fallen police officers saying it’s offensive to BLM supporters

The last 24 hours have been pretty hectic for Democrats in the Connecticut State Capitol.

They complained about a wooden thin blue line flag that was displayed in the Capitol building… in an area specifically meant for police memorials… had it removed because they said it was racist… pissed off a bunch of cops and police supporters across the country… then came crawling back to apologize and request that it be put back on display.

Here’s the kicker. They APPROVED the flag for display before it went up over a month ago.

When the flag was removed over complaints that it went against the Black Lives Matter movement, members of the Republican Caucus voiced their outrage.

“We would like to make it clear that we stand with our State Capitol Police and support their donation of the handmade American flag, created by one of their own officers,” the press release read.
