[Ed. – In fairness, she did better than last year. Then again, she was sitting directly behind the president and couldn’t scowl continuously.]

Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi made an excellent case for term limits (and Super Poligrip) at the 2019 State of the Union address, which drew widespread praise for her nemesis, President Donald Trump.

During the speech, Pelosi caused a stir on social media by noisily shuffling papers and rudely reading in the background as Trump spoke.

A rep for the California Democrat confirmed that Pelosi was in fact reading a copy of President Trump’s SOTU speech.

Naturally, Twitter snark erupted over the ill-mannered gesture, with some joking that Pelosi was reading Trump’s tax returns or impeachment papers.


Leftists Cheer Pelosi’s ‘F*ck-You’ Seal Clap

Nancy Pelosi also fueled Internet scuttlebutt by doing what some on social media characterized as a “f*ck-you clap” when President Trump slammed Democrats’ continued obstructionism.

“We must reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution, and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good,” Trump said.
