The new, conservative president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, suggested it is possible that a U.S. military base could be installed in Brazil dependent up on what happens in the world.

Bolsonaro, a public supporter of President Donald Trump, made his remarks during a Jan. 3 interview with SBT News (and translated on RT news). He was responding to a question about a U.S. base in Brazil to counter Russian influence in nearby Venezuela, a socialist regime that is collapsing under the dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro, a Marxist.
