This week, CNN political commentator Ana Navarro’s pattern of making vitriolic comments came back and bit her after a histrionic rant in response to President Donald Trump calling murderous MS-13 gang members “animals.”
Navarro compared Trump to a slave owner and a Nazi on Twitter over his comment, writing, “Trump is in very bad company. Nazis referred to Jews as ‘rats’. Slave-owners viewed slaves as sub-human animals.”
Navarro continued the over-the-top rhetoric while on CNN’s “New Day” on Thursday, attacking the president for “dehumanizing people” by calling them “animals.”
What’s ironic about Navarro’s comments is that she has called Trump an “animal” before and has stated that he should leave the human race.
In an October 10, 2016 tweet, Navarro wrote: “Should Donald Trump drop out of the race? Yes. He should drop out of the human race. He is an animal. Apologies to animals.”
