Parkland teacher promotes conspiracy theory that pro-gun Kyle Kashuv is being fed ‘talking points’

Parkland shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv recently visited a gun range with his father, which caused several issues with those in his high school. Students complained that they were uncomfortable with the pictures and videos that Kashuv posted from the range, and the school resource officer even pulled him into a meeting and confronted him with questions.

Then, Greg Pittman, an American history teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, got involved and claimed Kashuv was only posting about his time at the gun range for attention.

Now, Pittman is taking it one step further.

On Wednesday, he retweeted a woman claiming that Kashuv is just a teenager who is “getting talking points from Ben Shapiro.” She added, “Neither Kyle nor Shapiro seem to know squat about the constitution.”
