Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for former porn star Stormy Daniels, said Sunday he believes President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, will be indicted in the coming months.
“I strongly believe that within the next 90 days we’re going to see an unsealing of an indictment against Mr. Cohen for a host of very serious offenses, and I believe that is going to be a significant domino that’s going to fall in connection with this,” Avenatti said on CNN Sunday.
It is alleged by Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, that Cohen paid her $130,000 in hush money on behalf of Trump to keep quiet about an extramarital affair between the two parties.
