Hmm: Seems Dems haven’t always objected to citizenship question on Census

[Ed. – Fascinating update to the Brewing Crisis.  At least 9 blue states will be suing over the Census citizenship question, although how they expect to prevail is a mystery.  They may just hope to get a bad judge to issue an injunction, and hope SCOTUS doesn’t void the injunction until the Census has been created without the citizenship question(s).]

The Department of Commerce announced that it would include a question about citizenship status on the 2020 U.S. Census, which sparked outrage among Democrats on Tuesday.

However, Former President Bill Clinton’s Department of Commerce asked about citizenship in their 2000 census.
