Turkey says Kurdish-fired rockets hit border locations near Afrin, Syria

[Ed. – This is on the Turkish border with northwest Syria where Turkey has been attacking the Kurdish-held enclave of Afrin.]

Six rockets have hit the Turkish border town of Reyhanli killing two civilians and wounding 16, according to the private Turkish broadcaster, NTV.

NTV reports that two of the wounded are in a critical condition.

The rockets were believed to be fired by Syrian Kurdish YPG militia from the rebel-held Afrin in northern Syria.

The Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said that since the start of Turkey’s operation against the YPG in Syria 82 rockets have hit the Turkish border towns of Reyhanli and Kilis.
