Customers at a Brooklyn supermarket Friday feared for their lives after a masked man hurled a Molotov cocktail inside, a witness said.
“Everyone was scared. People were screaming. There was fire and smoke everywhere,” a worker at Tashkent Supermarket told The Post.
The worker, who didn’t want to be identified, said there were about 10 shoppers and three employees at the Brighton Beach store when the masked flame thrower chucked two bottles of flammable liquid inside around 2:30 a.m. before fleeing on a motorcycle with an accomplice.
Video released by the NYPD appeared to show the man igniting only one of the two explosives.
