Dozens of PA teachers resign due to violence from students

[Ed. – Harrisburg schools are among the many affected by the Obama-era guidance on school discipline, which LU contributor Jerome Woehrle has written about (most recently here).  Predictably, racializing school discipline has resulted in a break-down of discipline just where it is needed the most.  It’s bad enough to ask teachers to become full-time conflict mediators instead of classroom instructors.  We can’t ask them to court physical injury too.]
