Mark Levin: Mitch McConnell is recklessly silent on Congress’ sexual predators

“Has anybody heard [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell … speak out about the sexual abuse that is pervasive in the United States Senate?” asked LevinTV host Mark Levin Wednesday evening.

Discussing Tuesday’s story at CNN that details a longstanding, “pervasive” sexual harassment culture in Congress “on both sides of the rotunda,” Levin said McConnell’s “reckless silence” on the situation stands in stark contrast to the Senate majority leader’s approach to Roy Moore and Alabama.

Levin also criticized other Washington lawmakers for preemptively calling for Moore’s expulsion over sexual abuse allegations while making no public effort to expose or expel the apparently well-known sexual predators in their own midst.

“Fine, they can denounce Roy Moore,” Levin said. “But how do they defend themselves? And the secrecy?”

“Why don’t we know the names of the United States senators and members of the House of Representatives who should be thrown out of office? I assure you: Mitch McConnell knows their names. Paul Ryan knows their names. So why aren’t they moving to expel them?” asked Levin.
