[Ed. – This was a huge attack, and as yet goes unclaimed, according to media reporting. The obvious culprit would be Al-Shabaab. But there may not be anyone in a still very unstable Somalia with the forensic horsepower to investigate credibly and make the call.]
More than 300 people are now reported to have been killed in twin bomb attacks in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu.
The death toll has steadily risen since Saturday, when the blasts struck at two busy junctions in the heart of the city.
Hundreds more were wounded when a lorry packed with explosives went off near the entrance of a hotel.
No one has yet claimed responsibility but the Somali president has blamed the Islamist al-Shabab group.
