California promptly sues Trump admin for allowing religious exemption to contraception mandate

[Ed. – Because…California.  We noted this excellent move by Trump’s HHS earlier.  If you want to know who took the gravitas out of government, it’s these people — like California AG Becerra — who use it to have tantrums with.]

California wasted no time filing a lawsuit against the Trump Administration, claiming it discriminated against women when it rescinded the Obama-era mandate that requires employers to pay for birth control in their healthcare plans. …

[T]he HHS decision … does not end the Obama mandate as [the] suit alleges, it simply allows more employers the right to “opt out” of the ACA birth control mandate on the basis of religious or moral objections. …

But some Democrat leaders in California are making unfounded claims that this is an all-out attack on women’s rights…
