Ghoulish online game urges young people to end their lives

A San Antonio family is preparing to bury their 15-year old son after they say an internet challenge directed him to commit suicide.

It’s called the Blue Whale Challenge, a social media group that parents say encourages teens to harm themselves and even commit suicide.

A quick Google search shows this dangerous fad starts on social media through things like Facebook Instagram and Snapchat.

The parents of a San Antonio 15-year old are asking others to be vigilant and routinely check their kids’ social media pages.
