The panel of ABC’s The View invited Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook on the show Tuesday…. Mook was asked if Clinton was prepared to address Trump should he bring up former President Bill Clinton’s affairs….
[Whoopi] Goldberg then interjected, “But I think that’s precisely the thing – she shouldn’t be talking about just anything. And he shouldn’t be bringing that up, not right now, not in the future, not ever. Donald Trump is good when it comes to many things, but fighting honorably is not one of them. He has no business bringing that up at all, seeing how it doesn’t help with the debate. Talking about Bill cheating is not going to help our children get better education, our economy to create more jobs, our country to get back on its feet. There are no actual, tangible political points to be won from it.”
…Goldberg continued. “I think – actually, we all know – that Bill already forgave his wife for being so busy and detached that he had to go outside of their marriage to seek solace and intimacy. And we also know that that was the case because it almost cost him the presidency.”
