Gennifer Flowers, the one-time mistress of Bill Clinton, will not be Donald Trump’s guest at Monday’s debate, his campaign said Sunday in breaking away from the GOP nominee’s public threat.
“She will not be attending the debate tomorrow night,” running mate Mike Pence told Fox News Sunday.
“We have not invited her formally and we don’t expect her to be there as a guest of the Trump campaign,” added Trump campaign chair Kellyanne Conway on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
The Donald suggested he’d put Flowers in the front row at the Hofstra University faceoff Monday night after Hillary Clinton invited billionaire Mike Cuban, a vocal Trump critic.
“If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” Trump tweeted Saturday.
Flowers, whom Clinton admitted an affair, publicly said she’d attend.
