First lady Michelle Obama is set to make yet another appearance on prime-time television. Next month, she’s is scheduled to appear on the CBS Emmy-nominated show “NCIS.”
Like most of her cameos, Obama’s appearance on the show comes as part of an effort to raise awareness about a White House program. For Obama’s NCIS appearance, she’ll highlight the Joining Forces initiative, which aims to help military families with health, education and employment opportunities. Joining Forces was created by Obama and Jill Biden in 2011.
Obama’s role on the show involves her hosting a White House roundtable discussion with NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a Marine’s wife and actual military spouses, according to CNN.
