After National Review released its Against Trump issue, featuring a collection of essays by prominent conservatives (including Townhall’s Katie Pavlich) opposed to the selection of Donald Trump as the Republican nominee, the Republican National Committee has disinvited the magazine as a partner of the February 25 debate.
A statement from National Review publisher called the disinvitation a “small price to pay” for speaking out against Trump’s campaign and tactics.
National Review was asked by the RNC to partner in the GOP debates. … [W]e were to help moderate the pre–Super Tuesday debate…along with Salem Radio and Telemundo, the debate rescheduled for February 25.
Tonight, a top official with the RNC called me to say that National Review was being disinvited.
