Rep. Trey Gowdy will reportedly endorse Sen. Marco Rubio for president and campaign with him in Iowa.
Gowdy, who chairs the House investigation into the Benghazi terrorist attacks, will endorse the Florida senator Tuesday, Bloomberg Politics has confirmed.
“Marco is a rock solid conservative and a strong leader we can trust. I look forward to campaigning in Iowa with him, and introducing my good friend to voters across the state,” Gowdy said in a statement the Rubio campaign released on Saturday. TownHall first reported that the South Carolina congressman will campaign with Rubio.
