Presidential Republican front-runner Donald Trump is not even on stage in Saturday’s Democratic debate and yet he is receiving more Google searches than any of the three Democrats.
In a search of Google trends covering the four hours leading up to the 8 p.m. debate in New Hampshire, Trump is clearly ahead of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, her chief rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.), and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
Sanders was catching Trump as the debate closed in, and the senator more than doubles Clinton on Google interest.
Matching his position in the polls, O’Malley is barely registering on the Google trends scale.
