Yesterday John Kasich joined CNN to drop what may be the most ironic statement any GOP candidate has made this year. Here’s what he actually said.
“The 12 million who are here, we ought to find out who they are. If they’ve been law-abiding over a period of time, they ought to be legalized and they ought to be able to stay here”
Wait a minute… what? Someone in this country illegally cannot possibly be “law abiding,” Governor. The very act if being here illegally is, well, illegal!
Kasich is the first GOP candidate to openly and blatantly call for broad amnesty for more than 10,000,000 illegal immigrants. How well do you think that will sit with voters in early primary states come February? With a policy plan like that, I’m guessing when Kasich drops out, and he will, his endorsement will head straight in the direction of Jeb Bush.
