Mitt Romney knocks down Evander Holyfield in boxing match

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney took on four-time heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield tonight in a charity boxing match in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The match was to benefit CharityVision, which provides eye surgeries for people in developing countries. Romney’s son Josh serves as the part-time president of CharityVision, noted NPR.

At one point in the match, the 68-year-old former governor of Massachusetts knocked Holyfield down, but it’s not clear how much help he had from Holyfield to make that happen (video below).

When Holyfield came after Romney, the GOPer’s corner threw in the towel (as they did three years ago), notes the Bleacher Report.
