Michael Merry of Ireland, 55, was on vacation in Thailand when he was assaulted by a transgender woman that suggested that they “have some fun together.”
Merry was enjoying a night out at the holiday resort of Pattaya when Wichai Sripalang began flirting with him outside of a Go Go bar around 3 a.m. According to witnesses, despite Merry saying no and making it clear he was not interested, the 24-year-old Sripalang refused to take no for an answer. After being told no several times, Sripalang put her arms around Merry and began molesting him. Merry pushed her off of him and she fell.
Sripalang then removed one of her stilettos and stabbed Merry in the head with it. The high heel opened a deep gash on Merry’s head, reports the Daily Mail.
The police were called. While the police interviewed Sripalang, Merry was treated by medics.
Merry told police that he was strolling down the street past the Go Go bar when the Sripalang rushed up to him and offered her sexual services. Merry told officials that he has no interest in boys, so he told her no. He admits that he got angry when Sripalang would not let go of him and inappropriately touched him, so he pushed her away.
