Woman throws bleach in the faces of two teen girls for cutting in line for gas

A 55-year-old woman is behind bars for throwing bleach in the face of two teenagers after getting into an argument over skipping in a line, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

It happened at about 7:40 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Quick Stop Service Station in the 3300 block of Carondelet Street.

An 18-year-old woman told police she was standing in line at the store when 55-year-old Deanna Rudison “approached her with aggression,” police say, and the two got into an argument over whether the 18-year-old skipped Rudison in line.

The victim went into the parking lot to talk to a 15-year-old girl, at which point Rudison approached them with two open bottles of bleach in both hands. Rudison then allegedly tossed the bleach into the faces of the teens.

Immediately after the dousing, Rudison’s son, 27-year-old Jonathan Rudison, approached the group and threw one of the teens to the ground, causing her to break her arm, police said. Both Deanna and Jonathan Rudison then fled the scene.
