A 24-year-old man was slashed across the throat by a stranger who yelled in Spanish, “I’m going to kill you, white boy,” police said Friday.
But the victim understands Spanish and was able to tell police what happened.
Cops are calling the Queens incident a hate crime and hunting the suspect.
The attack occurred at 2:20 a.m. Thursday in Ridgewood.
Police said the victim was walking with his girlfriend on Seneca Ave. near Gates Ave., when the attacker ran up to him, yelled the threat and cut the victim from an ear to the middle of his throat.
The attacker, 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-8, with a medium build, then ran off with his girlfriend, who was standing nearby and acting as a lookout, cops said.
The victim received dozens of stitches to close his wounds and was later released from the hospital.
Police released a video that shows the suspect and his girlfriend before the attack happened.
