Indiana cop pulls school bus over – to give son his lunch

An Indiana police officer is under investigation for the most embarrassing cool-dad move ever: Using his police vehicle to pull over a school bus to deliver his son’s lunch.

According to a police report, Lt. Brian Keller, who the Chicago Tribune notes is one of the “formerly top-ranking officers” for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, allegedly pulled over a school bus outside his jurisdiction, using an unmarked police vehicle with emergency lights.  “The apparent purpose of the stop was to issue his son his lunch for the day,” the report, filed by the bus driver, states.

In a statement, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged they were investigating Keller for misconduct. No one else involved in the story — the bus driver, the school district, the mortified child, etc. — commented…
