Exclusive: Potential Benghazi game changer

Veterans For a Strong America has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for all the State Department’s emails pertaining to the Benghazi attacks, particularly those from then Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The request was filed today on behalf of VSA and their founder Joel Arends by prominent DC attorney Mark Zaid.

Zaid has been named a DC Superlawyer for his work on behalf of national security whistle-blowers.  As his Wikipedia page states, Zaid’s work includes “suing Libya for the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am 103 which resulted in a $2.7 billion settlement, the largest of its kind against a foreign government for terrorist activities.”

The FOIA request, obtained by SteveDeace.com, “seeks all records created, received and/or maintained by the Department of State (“State”), including all cross-references, constituting e-mails and telephonic records regarding the attacks against U.S. Government facilities and personnel in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012.”

That includes Secretary Clinton’s official State e-mail address “and any “alias” State e-mail addresses, as well as any personal e-mail addresses that were used in her official capacity and for the purpose of conducting official U.S. Government business.”
