George Zimmerman painting for sale on eBay, not going for cheap

George Zimmerman is an artist ― an artist who likes to quote the Pledge of Allegiance.

Zimmerman, who was acquitted of murder earlier this year in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is auctioning off what he calls his “first hand painted artwork.” The 18-by 24-inch painting is available on eBay.

The painting is of a blue-tinted American flag with the words “God, One Nation, with Liberty and Justice for All” stamped in white. Bidding started Monday at $0.99. As of press time, the “current bid” display was showing $99,966. There are more than four days left until the gavel falls, almost ensuring the painting will draw higher bids.

My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors 🙂 I hope you enjoy owning this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Your friend, George Zimmerman
