Obama’s polls plunge to all-time low

The new survey [by Wall Street Journal/NBC News] found Obama’s current job approval (42%) is the lowest he’s ever experienced, down five points or 10% since earlier this month. And it’s down 11 points, or 20%, in the past 10 months.

On his inauguration, Obama’s approval was 69%. At this same point in Ronald Reagan’s second term, his job approval was 62%.

Likewise the Democrat’s job disapproval now stands at 51%, another all-time record high.

Those results are similar to Gallup’s recent findings, which give Obama 43% approval and 50% disapproval.

Even Obama’s personal ratings have turned upside-down for the first time, with 45% of his countrymen viewing him negatively and only 41% positively. Obama would need to kill Osama bin Laden again to turn this tide.
