Americans for Prosperity is holding its 7th Annual Defending the American Dream Summit at Universal Studios Resort in Orlando, Fla., this Friday and Saturday — and in doing so, has managed to draw the ire of U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla.
For the first time, the summit is being held outside of Washington, D.C., at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando and will also include the 2013 Right Online Conference, an Americans for Prosperity Foundation project that counters the left-wing Netroots Nation. Right Online is seen as the premier conference for conservative bloggers, social media gurus and online activists.
The high-profile lineup includes some of the most popular conservatives in the country, including U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and will feature Florida Gov. Rick Scott as a keynote speaker.
