Now that the mainstream media are writing articles with the words scandals (plural), cover-up, lies, and president in their titles, Democrats in Congress are suddenly desperate to change the narrative on Benghazi from “nothing to see here” to something else — anything else — that will deflect criticism away from the Obama administration.
Some people clearly just don’t know when to quit. One of them is comedic actor Jim Carrey. Believing he had tapped into the elusive humor in the debate over gun control, he concocted a scathing 5-minute sendup of people who believe in the Second Amendment — and predictably received flak. Now he is attempting to rebut his critics.
I don’t agree with most of what is published on Huffington Post, but it does happen. This piece from Friday is one example of a piece I hope is right on:
If you don’t believe the TSA is doomed after watching Thursday’s House Aviation Subcommittee hearing, then you’ll have to at least agree that the agency as we know it can’t continue to exist as it does.
