Jihad experts identify fatal flaws in ‘hypersensitive’ DHS anti-terrorism training guidelines

“We are not at war with Islam,” the president has said. Make that “the presidents (plural) have said.” George W. Bush was as clear and unequivocating as Barack Obama in distinguishing between terrorism and the religion of Islam.

But at least Bush understood that his first obligation was to do whatever it took to keep Americans safe from further 911s.

Report: Palestinian organizations use U.S. funding to demonize Israel

Obama in IsraelIn March of this year, during his Mideast charm offensive, Barack Obama declared that  Israel has “no greater friend” than America. Maybe he meant “fiend.”

On Tuesday, a report presented to Congress by Jerusalem-based watchdog NGO Monitor showed that several NGOs (“non-government organizations”) in the region that receive U.S. tax dollars are hostile toward Israel and the peace process.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzth

Keeping alive the long history between National Socialism and Jihaddist Islam, the twisted cross of Nazism is flying high and proud over a heavily Arab-Muslim town south of Jerusalem today.

Obama aide: Benghazi was ‘tragedy,’ ‘irrelevant’ where president was during raid

Dan Pfeiffer

Dan Pfeiffer

A new meme is subtly snaking its way into the administration’s feeble attempts to promote the notion that the deaths of four members of the U.S. diplomatic corps in Benghazi last Sept. 11 were unavoidable — that the president was intimately involved during the storming of the U.S. consulate and that the White House response after the fact was wholly appropriate and apolitical.

Dem Senators’ Hail Mary pass in re Benghazi scandal

Barbara BoxerNow that the mainstream media are writing articles with the words scandals (plural), cover-up, lies, and president in their titles, Democrats in Congress are suddenly desperate to change the narrative on Benghazi from “nothing to see here” to something else — anything else — that will deflect criticism away from the Obama administration.

Crazy! Iran will be chairing the UN conference on disarmament

9th Tehran Cartoon Biennial AhmadinejadWith each passing day, the United Nations becomes more irrelevant to anyone outside the progressive movement and/or the Obama Administration. The latest example of the failure of this institution is the news that Iran will chair the United Nations’ most important disarmament negotiating forum during the panel’s May session, which opened today, sparking calls by an independent monitoring group for the U.S., the EU, and UN chief Ban Ki-moon to protest.

Obama Benghazi statements rated as ‘whoppers’ by friendly media

Obama ShhIn his statements to the press yesterday about the alleged Benghazi scandal, President Obama did something he has done before countless times. He countered claims that his administration had deceived the American people — in this case by putting forth a false account of the motivation for the Sept. 11 raid on the U.S. Consulate — by going on the offensive and calling the charges a “sideshow.” He further allowed as how the allegations were a GOP invention borne of partisanship and politics.

Did fear of tough questions from the press about Benghazi makes Obama cry?

Obama cryingIs that a tear coursing down the face of President Barack Obama? Did no one tell the macho man president that big commanders-in-chief don’t cry?

The photo was taken during a Monday face-off against the White House press corps, which on Friday beat up on Obama’s spokesman Jay Carney. Obviously anticipating a similar reception, the Associated Press reports, a testy Obama “denied Republican criticism that his White House was trying to cover up information about the deadly assault in Benghazi, Libya last year.”

Feds nab Saudi traveler with pressure cooker in luggage

Pressure cookers: Not just for stew any more

Pressure cookers: Not just for stew any more

Have pressure cookers become the new underwear or shoe bomb? It’s beginning to look like it. Federal agents arrested a Saudi Arabian traveler who arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Monday with a pressure cooker in his possession. This household aid, you may recall, was a key component in the Boston Marathon bombings last month.

But the pressure cooker was not the only clue to the likelihood the man was not in the country to make stew. The Detroit News notes:
