Video: Why special needs students want school choice

If you were blind, would you describe yourself as “lucky”? USC student Jake Olson does. Why? Because he received a great education thanks to having parents who could afford to send him to private school. But what about special needs students who have no option other than their community’s public schools, which may or may not be able to serve them well? How can we give them the education they deserve? The answer: school choice-so that all special needs students have the same opportunities Jake did.

It’s no secret that the U.S. system of public education is failing us and our children; given the annual trillion-dollar cost, it’s an enormously expensive failure.

The Left opposes school choice at every turn, backed by the unions and the politicians they lobby, their concern is never the wellbeing of the students.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Prager U wants to educate as many Americans as possible on the benefits of school choice for all children, and turn the tide on the Left’s monopoly of education policy.
