Chelsea Clinton accused of using foundation funds for campaigning, wedding, living expenses

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Another WikiLeaks revelation suggests that Clinton first daughter Chelsea used Clinton Foundation cash to fund campaigning (presumably on behalf of her mother during her first presidential run in 2008), to finance her wedding, and to pay taxes.

The email dated Jan. 4, 2012 was from Doug Band, a Clinton Foundation executive, to John Podesta and warned of an investigation into the Clinton daughter’s misappropriation of funds.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The possible legal repercussions are serious. According to the Frequently Asked Questions page of the Clinton Foundation website and to tax documents filed by the foundation, none of the three principals — Bill, Hillary, or Chelsea — takes compensation:

As has been noted in these pages previously, there is no love lost between Band and Chelsea, but this sounds more like out-and-out malfeasance by Chelsea than it does a plot by Band to disgrace her.
