Frank Henry is only ten years old, but his solutions for the endless (and endlessly tiresome) gridlock and stagnation on Capitol Hill could fill a book. In fact, they do fill a book — en eBook. Titled “Frank Henry and the Zooband Bond Go to Washington,” the satirical mini-tome is for children of all ages. And it’s a delight to read.
The text, which is in verse, is a collaborative effort between Frank, his dad, and his uncle. The illustrations are by Frank, who is in the second grade.

According to the book’s online mission statement, Frank’s goal is get it in front of as many people as possible, including ultimately all 100 U.S. Senators and all 435 U.S. Representatives. It’s not immediately clear why Frank isn’t interested in having the president read it as well, but he speaks truth to power when he tells Congress it’s time start listening to one another and start working together for us … the American people!
