On Sunday, the Washington Posts’ Chris Cillizza issued a tweet informing the world that the health of Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton is now a legitimate issue in the presidential campaign — after telling us that it wasn’t.
“Hillary Clinton’s health just became a real issue in the presidential campaign,” he tweeted.
As we reported earlier, Clinton suffered a “medical episode” and had to leave the 9/11 ceremony. It was initially believed that she was taken to a hospital, based on a video report by Fox News. The campaign, however, later said she was taken to her daughter’s apartment and is now doing much better.
According to the campaign and various media outlets, she “overheated,” but I’ve been told by someone who lives in the area that at the time of the episode, the temperature was quite mild.
