Man climbs into county jail for some reason, gets caught

[Ed. – Doesn’t sound like being free outside of prison was this guy’s priority.]

Around 6 a.m. Sunday, July 31, San Bernardino County sheriff’s Sgt. Corey Emon spotted a man who was not a prisoner scaling the perimeter fence of the Central Detention Center on Rialto Avenue in San Bernardino.

Emon notified jail staffers inside the Detention Center and they arrested the man. They also discovered there was a warrant out for his arrest.

Shane James McDonald, 28, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and for the warrant, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department. …

His climb inside the jail wasn’t in vain.
