Terrorism’s youngest victims: Families desperately seek children missing following Nice attack

These are the faces of children still missing after the Bastille Day massacre in Nice.

Some of them are seriously injured in hospital and have no idea where their families are or if they are even alive.

Others have been made orphans by the atrocity leaving relatives who live miles away scared and uncertain over their well-being.

A small child is in intensive care at Nice’s Lenval Children’s Hospital. Nobody has claimed the little victim of the horrendous attack on revellers watching the Bastille Day fireworks from the city’s Promenade des Anglais.

Nobody wants to speculate but at this stage there is the growing belief that the child has been orphaned in the carnage.

One four-year-old boy whose father was searching for him in the wake of the massacre was today confirmed dead.
